Data Protection

It is vitally important to you as it is to us that we safe guard your privacy on line. Your details such as your name, email address, current address and your telephone numbers will only be used by Convey2Day and its partners, employees, agents and any approved parties e.g. Solicitors, so that we or they can send you competitive quotations to assist with your property transaction in terms of saving you money or with the logistics of transferring the property. We only request from you the minimum information which we need to provide this service to you.

You agree and accept that your data may be used stored and processed to assist us in delivering to you the service which we are offering. In addition, this information may be used for marketing, advertising and promotional purposes but only in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998 which gives you certain rights including a right to request a copy of your data and to have any inaccuracies corrected.

You may from time to time receive from us emails regarding our services and if at any time in the future you wish to stop doing so then you must contact us.

Our associates will only contact you by email, fax, telephone or post but again if this causes you a problem then it can be stopped by contacting us.

We confirm we will not supply or release your details to any other organisation which we have no connection or association with, expect with your consent or where we are obliged to do so by law.

General

We are required to comply with Rule 9 of the Solicitors Code of Conduct which deals with the referral business. This means that any Solicitor to whom we refer conveyancing work must be an independent professional person who is capable of providing you with independent and confidential advice. At any point in time you are entitled to select another Solicitor to act for you.

The Solicitor Regulation Authority allows Solicitors to enter into arrangements with Third Parties such as ourselves who refer work to them.  Any such arrangement must comply with Rule 9 of the Referral of Business Code which sets out stringent rules to protect you as a customer of the Solicitor. Convey2Day and the Solicitors to whom you are referred to have entered into a formal Agreement under Rule 9 whereby they will pay to Convey2Day a fixed referral fee of £75.00 for every referral case which completes. This fee is not paid by you in addition to the fee which we quote to you.
